This directory contains some of my old preprints in pdf form. The original TeX for them is in compressed tar files and one ps file in the subdirectory TEX. The papers have all been published, with some modifications.

  • adram.pdf has been published as Springer Lecture Notes in Mathematics 1644
  • adshuk.pdf has appeared in the Transactions of the American Mathematical Society
  • aut.pdf has appeared in Communications in Algebra
  • cubics.pdf has appeared in Journal of Algebra
  • eis.pdf will appear in the Winter 1997 issue of Rocky Mountain Journal
  • four5ths.pdf appears as an appendix of Springer Lecture Notes in Mathematics 1644
  • m11.pdf has appeared in the Jan. 1997 issue of Proc. London Math Soc.
  • magic.pdf has appeared in the 1992 Mathematical Intelligencer
  • modcor.pdf has appeared in the Pacific Journal of Mathematics
  • monoid1.pdf has appeared in the European Journal of Combinatorics
  • x11.pdf has appeared in the Proc. of the Royal Soc. of Edinburgh
  • The file monoid.pdf is an earlier version of my article, "Magic cubes form a free monoid". It contains generalizations that have been greatly abbreviated in order to conserve space in the published version.

The files hirz.pdf and inv.pdf are earlier versions of articles that have since appeared in the MSRI volume on Klein's quartic curve
